WOYWW #153
It's Wednesday!! I'm taking a real quick break from work, as I have a ton of crap that has to get done by today for a board meeting; I should show you my real-life workdesk!! I have even greater piles stacked around than my fun workdesk!
So here is the fun desk; and I only remembered to grab a shot as I had to grab my Mother In Laws Mother's Day card to mail out today. Now that the Mom's are in two separate states, I have stopped agonizing over creating 2 different designs...am I a bad daughter? (or DinL). I used liquid pearls on the butterflies dies (from Tim Holtz), and had been waiting for them to dry. Also, some more stamps that will be "image-swapped", and some tags in the background from the Compendium of Curiosities 2 Challenge.

good work.. you are a wonderful DIL and Daughter to make handmade works for them both ! they will treasure them. I was just telling someone else I made many cards for my mom when I was younger. she saved everyone and my dad gave them back to me when she passed..I made a scrapbook from them all and shared them at a family reunion with my 6 sister and 3 brothers. they had made cards also my scrapebook contained cards from all of us to our mom over many many years. our personalities shine through each one.

ReplyDeleteNoooo I used to make two mum day cards almost the same, only had to make one this year tho. My M-in-l would thow them out but my mum gives them back after a couple of years( so I can recycle the crafty stuff!) Thanks for my snoop! HapPy LatE WoYwW!
