Welcome to another installment of the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge, Vol. 3,
hosted by Linda at Studio L3. This is
the fourth challenge in where we work through the techniques of Tim Holtz from,
you guessed it…his 3rd Volume of the Compendium of
Curiosities!! As in the past challenges,
we can’t give details on the challenge, so don’t ask, but do go get your own
copy of Tim’s fabulous book. Also, The
Funky Junkie Boutique has offered an extremely generous $50 Gift Certificate
for all the even numbered weeks! So grab a copy, and join in to play!! All the deets are here, at Linda’s blog!
Texture paste is pretty cool stuff! I had bought the
Golden Modeling Paste for a project to make a texture plate for Gelli plate
printing. (Then I had to break my addiction to Gelli plate printing because I
kept running out of paper. But I can handle it now; so the project is on my
near future to-do list.)

While I don’t think this will be a daily technique; it is a great tool to add texture to canvas’s and cards..well; everything! I’m thinking a crackle stencil over a box….hmmm.
So head on over to Linda's to get the details...it's a great technique to try...and you might win stuff!
