WOYWW #292

Welcome to WOYWW…the “What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday”  blog hop created by Julia at the StampingGround,  so hop off there to join the fun.

Welcome to the New Year! I don’t make many resolutions; too much stress to start the year…but I do always try to get more craft time in.  So, for those of you who remember the mess from last week….

Taaa Daaaa! I got all the holiday stamps, umm, not put away exactly, but all in one place (umm, ok, still on the floor) but at least they are off the desk!  All the inks back where they belong; all the holiday papers are put away. Actually all my papers are put away! (even the 3 new packs of identical white..yes I’ll use them, but really??!!)  I can actually walk to my chair without doing funny contortions or risk injury or destruction.  I've even started a list of things I really truly need to replace, like the TH watercolor paper and the Judikins RS paper, which I used up.

And ready to go: the items I’ll need for this week’s compendium challenge…

Oh, and here is the Luminaire I made from the Tim Holtz die; quite the challenge there! I originally thought I’d make them for favors for my step-son’s wedding..when they finally set a date…which we hope will be a ways off….but I've decided I’m just not that good a step-mom. LOL!  I’ll cut them, color them, but the assembly is right out!

Right.  So there it is; now go see Julia and portal to other wonderful desks around the world. Have a wonderful Weekend everyone

  1. Well done for the sorting out....I had visions of you climbing, a la Mission Impossible, over your craft heap. I'm even singing the theme tune :-). It's not the same now you can walk to your desk...can't think if accompanying music for that!

Loving your lamp. You need to make a bunch of them and then you will be fine with getting them up and ready for the wedding...

  3. Sorting out always takes me at least a week and then I ruin it all in 5 seconds flat! Love the lantern.
    Happy WOYWW!

  4. Lots going on over here!! I see some lovely Distress Ink pads and markers! Both are new discoveries for me, but I love them so far!

  5. Since I haven't been around for quite awhile, I had to scroll down to see your previous post. Your workspace looks a LOT different this week.

I don't ever seem to have any patterned paper, Christmas, or otherwise. Instead I prefer to create my own backgrounds using white card stock. So, I agree that you will definitely use it.

Happy belated New Year as well as happy belated WOYWW from # 2.

With the beginning of the new year the cleaning activity starts in all kinds of craft rooms, hehe! It looks good!
