WOYWW #283

Wow…it’s another WOYWW…time is flyin’ by!  To see what it’s all about, stop off at Julia’s Stamping Ground,  and then join in the fun.

Nearing the end of my Craft Show Craziness.  This is what I left Sunday afternoon before I had to head down to start dinner; silly me planned a grilled pork, and it now gets dark so early, and I always over grill stuff in the dark (yes, the deck light is on…yesh!...oh, and can you sorta see outside my window..how overly bright? Yes, that’s snow…we had about 1.5 inches…so I was grilling in the cold snowy dark…still pretty tasty though!)

So I have a card I did on watercolor paper with a Magenta stamp I bought on our trip to Wales last year.  Embossed with gold, colored with Faded Jeans Distress Ink and a water pen  I was still contemplating using the blue pearls, but now I think not.  The DeNami tree stamp I have ideas for using green Xmas embossing powder, (it’s got flakes of gold and red glitter mixed in)  so we’ll see if I can pull that together tomorrow night as well.

And here is the card that was all in pieces-parts last week…Memory box die, Tim Holtz embossing folder.

And here is the tag that the deer was destined for...really like the background on this one.

So please, go visit Julia, where you can then link to much more promising desks around the world…Have a great week everyone!

  2. Have made one mold so far and it seems quite good. I just need to stick the items to the base of the dish for the next ones as these floated a bit and there is a skin over the top which is a pest to cut away. Have poured two more and hope they will be ok in the morning. they take 6 to 8 hours to cure. I am impatient...so off to bed so I don't fiddle them too soon, they are 3 hours in...having fun painting up and playing with the stuff I have made. It is quite addictive. I have not made a Christmas card yet...have done a tag though and am planning how to make all of this years Tim tags into xmas ones. #22 Thanks for the visit already.

  9. Two really lovely cards you made there. I like the candles one and the sentiment on the deer card is really funny.
