WoW!! How much fun is this??!! This week was a bit hectic, so I only had Thursday night to play, since I can only upload images by Friday at work. Well, I pull out my basket of beautiful inks...and in additon to the Ranger Inks, I also have most of the Pinata colors as well...and then my brain sort of short-circuited--so many colors!! Which to try first...(only 15 sheets of glossy paper left...ghaah!) After the first set (blues and greens) got done...things got a little crazy! Next thing you know, I have only 3 sheets of glossy left, it's time to go to bed, and all I have are backgrounds!! Well, I open a stamp drawer...and Bam! Heather!! Hydrangea!..(what?? Where's my black archival ink???? ) Tried another type...forgot to heat-set...but, wow, this is awesome!! (If my christmas stamps weren't tucked away I'd be all set with the pale blues and silver...) So..with the rambling out of the way....TaDahhhaaa...(The picture doesn't do it justice! Bit blurry and a color shift to pink-ish-should be more blue)
Had to add this one too!
Kim, you're a riot! I go through glossy cardstock like that, too, and someday I'm going to have to accept the fact and just buy an entire ream of the stuff!
ReplyDeleteYour card is magnificent! The colors are awesome, the stamp is perfect-- LOVE IT!
Thanks so much for playing along! I hope very much that you'll be back for Challenge 4 next week.
Hugs,
Linda
Glad to know I'm not the only one who has crafting sessions like that! Love your backgrounds - really pretty. x
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!!!! I'm can be the same way with backgrounds...can't stop and then I run out of time, lol.
ReplyDeleteKim, I love both of your cards -- very soft and soothing results.
ReplyDeleteI also like the tag you did for the second challenge. GREAT ART!
