WOYWW #400! Wow!

WoW! This is the 400th post of  the “What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesdayblog hop hosted by the lovely Julia at The Stamping Ground, where we open our craft rooms up to have you peak at our desks.

Mine not very exciting this week.  My main focus for crafting has been for the Wanderlust 2017 assignment…which you can see here. But I’ll have to get some serious card making in, as February is a heavy birthday month. (actually already missed one! Zoinks!) The VIP card is for my Mother in Law, and when Our Daily Bread Designs had a sale a few weeks ago, I (ahem) found a few stamp sets that I thought would suit her nicely. So that is what you see. There are actually 2 sets stacked, as well as 2 coordinating paper pads. I don’t know why I buy their paper pads…I never use them; I generally don’t make cards in their style…but they are just too darn pretty. So in my stash they go!

The colorful page was an experiment with Color Bursts and a Dina Wakely stencil. There are some quote stamps, never put away from the last card making session a few weeks ago. I love the Funny Bones line; this one says “We’ll always be best friends because you know too much”  Oh, and the small little letter stamps...from the old PSX company...were used to stamp on Tim Holtz tissue
paper (box on far left), as it becomes invisible in an art journal once glued down. I just haven’t been back on this side of the room to clean them up. Need to remedy that quickly!

So that’s me; now go back to the Stamping Ground to portal off to other creative desks. Stay Crafty my friends.

  3. I have a few of those letter stamps too - they can be very frustrating! I think I will be unmounting mine, and it will be much easier to set them up to stamp words. Happy 400th, and thanks for sharing! Lindart #47
