Happy WOYWW Everyone! That is short for “What’s on Your
Workdesk Wednesday”, the brilliant blog hop initiated by our lovely hostess,
Julia at The Stamping Ground….and you can see all the deets there.
I hope everyone had a great weekend; and those of you in the Northeast are finally dug out…I still
think Winter is my 2nd best season…but it’s definitely Dakota’s
favorite!!
And, even with the snow, I managed to get to
Massachusetts for another gelli plate play date with BFF Julie, (no pics
this time…but just wait to see what
we’re up to!) And I even got some time
in my own room…making a birthday card for my nephew’s 8th
birthday.
So, the desk is after the card clean-up…The TH Birthday
Blueprint stamps are top center…there are some photo corners in the little bin
on the left…so I can finally get my Christmas Card Samples in their book.. some
experiments of the card top-right….OH…and BTW…You can use Picket Fence Distress
Paint with Distress Stains to get a
marbled stain effect….and yes, I should be able to tell which bottle I pick
up---but still….The funny blotchy paper far right is my brayer roll off for
when I do use the gelli plate. Oh, and the coolest..the pear is a gift from
Julie using TH’s Industrial Metal technique to go into my pear basket wall
hanging I’m currently envisioning…haven’t actually started yet, just acquiring
items and ideas…
SO, here is the marbled paint/stain background, then the
card…
So, there it is…now go stop by Julia’s and hop around the world to other great desks! Happy Crafting everyone.
That is a lovely card, love the background. Karen #101
ReplyDeleteThat is one happy dog!! I love the way they play in the snow whereas cats just hate it, lol!
ReplyDeleteThe colours of your background are my favourites...EVER! My bedroom is painted in that turquoise colour, gorgeous :-)
