Happy WOYWW Everyone! That is short for “What’s on Your
Workdesk Wednesday”, the brilliant blog hop initiated by our lovely hostess,
Julia at The Stamping Ground….and you can see all the deets there.
Now, as many of you know, I only get into my crafting
room on weekends, so once again…there has been no changes to my desk from 2
weeks ago…same wolf stamp waiting for coloring inspiration…
And Julie has all the cool paints. I only have a few of
the TH Distress Paints, which work pretty well, but I tend to be stingy with,
and some cheapo Apple Barrel craft paints, which dry really fast and don’t pull
well. So new on my expanding shopping
list: Liquitex Basics Acrylics (And how convenient…they are on sale at AC Moore
this week: 3/$10!
So there are our prints…and also added to the list…more
stencils! Green Pepper Press is calling my name! We are going to try our hand at the Gelli Print Ombre Collage that we saw on YouTube...go check that out!
And, even better, I have used one of the prints for a Valentines
Day card for my Honey. (Hmm, maybe I can ask for all the red paints at AC
Moore!)
So..there is mine, err, Julie's desk…I’ll hop around to yours.
Have a great week everyone!
Love the samples you have made with your gelli plate, fab colours . Francesca #78
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Valentine card! I would go with the "all red" idea. (Here in Canada that would also mean a $50 bill, as they are red--you've given me a good idea what to hint for LOL!)
ReplyDeleteOne of these days I'd like to try my hand at a gelli plate.
Hugs,

I'm happy seeing Julie's desk, in fact, I hadn't realised it wasn't yours!! I love the teal, turquoise and green backgrounds made with the gelli plate...gorgeous colours.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to make clip on handbag charms with the pearls together with a few charms from my stash!
Hugs, LLJ 33 xx
Such great prints--you two obviously had a good time!
ReplyDeleteHappy woyww to you,
