Creative Chemistry January Challenge
Well, it feels like forever since I got to spend any time in my craft room! I did break away for a few hours last weekend to get some of the holiday items put away, and thank heavens I had to make a birthday card for my nephew, or who knows if I'd get to this months challenge over at Creative Chemistry 101!
This month it is to make up our own sprays. So I made up vintage photo reinker with gold perfect pearl, Peacock Feather Distress Stain with blue patina perfect pearl, and lemonade distress stain with copper perfect pearl. But I confess, I didn't like that one, so I used Dylusions sunshine instead. The photo doesn't show the perfect pearls so much, but it was a nice background. The stamp is from Scottish Borders, and I colored her with Distress Stains and a water brush, as well as Distress Markers and I touched up the crown and wings with pearl perfect pearls. And the magic symbols came from a stamp kit I got from my Sister in Law for Christmas...she finds the coolest stuff!
So, there it is, and if you have taken the online class Creative Chemistry 101, you still have a few more days to join the FB page and join in the fun. There is a new challenge every month! Have a great week everyone!
