Welcome to WOYWW…the “What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday” blog hop created by Julia at the Stamping
Ground. Julia is recouping from her
surgery, so Lovely LLJ is keeping us together,
so hop over there to join the fun.
OK, I have been double-dog dared. And since I was away on
vacation and have no work to show…here it is…my craft room with it’s three work
desks, and technically 2 die-cutting stations…the Vagabond on the white cabinet
in the nook, and a big shot out of view
on the lower right. (Some dies I just don’t trust running through the Vagabond…I had one near jam, and that was enough!)
on the lower right. (Some dies I just don’t trust running through the Vagabond…I had one near jam, and that was enough!)
Main desk is now for making cards, ATC’s and small
items. Side desk was the art journal and
gelli plate area; and lately it’s overflow for letting things dry, using the
laptop to flatten, and mostly during Christmas (Or WOYWW Anniversary) my assembly
area for mass production. And now the no longer temporary card table for
journaling, mixed media and gelli plate.
And yes, I still have a horrible amount of stuff on the floor…And don’t
even ask about the closet!!!
It’s a shame I promised my husband when I took over his
son’s room that I would keep it available for guests…there is a futon out of shot on the left, which while nice to
lay down on while watching YouTube videos, I would really much rather have use
of that wall space! And I still honestly believe, with all my heart, that if I could have more than just a few stolen hours a week, it would be well organized, and while not clean, at least not so frightening looking! Oh, wait....have you seen my work office? Never mind...
Ok, now go visit LLJ to see where to portal next. Have a great week everyone.
Hi Kim, fab to have a look around your space. The floor is always so useful for storage though, isn't it? lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #5xxx
ReplyDeletewhat a great space Kim! ditch the futon and spread out, I say! Helen#1
ReplyDeleteKim, finally!!! I love it, great view of your space and who cares what state it's in..oh yeah Husband's..honestly..My work space is usually a clean and tidy area unlike my craft space, but as the two are currently one and the same the craft space is way tidier than it ever has been. Wow, your room is much bigger than I'd imagined - all the more room in which to have crafty fun, eh? Who cares about the piles so stash - it's your place, your rules!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ xxx

Hi Kim, sorry I'm a bit late this week. This room is great but it's always difficult to organise a work space because when you do have time to go in it you want to be crafting not shifting stuff around, I mean what fun is that Lol!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and happy crafting, Angela x 16
We all have those spaces at some point, Kim. Remember, we built my office/ studio 2 years ago this November... I'm still trying to put things to rights. I have a sofa sleeper in there but thankfully, we don't have a lot of guests. Technically, I can't use it as a guest room if I'm to claim the room on taxes so that works anyway. The sofa is my sittin' spot.... just as soon as I unearth it from the piles :-D Creative Blessings! Kelly #30
ReplyDeletewell I think its ideal space for a guest. If not a crefter yet - they will be when they leave. don't mind me - still catching up from Wed. donna #34
