WOYWW #368

Welcome to WOYWW…the “What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday”  blog hop created by Julia at the Stamping Ground.  Julia is recouping from her surgery, so Lovely LLJ is keeping us together,  so hop over there to join the fun.

A quick post this week, as work, and the day have gotten away from me.  So what’s new? We had an enjoyable weekend catching up with old friends in Mass., and across from the tavern we had lunch was a book store…and for reasons I can’t explain…really…not a clue….these journals found their way into my hands!  So you all need to hold me accountable to start art journaling!!! This makes 8 journals...see, need to start using them!

And, thanks to everyone for their kind words on my work in progress for my retiring boss; I did get that finished over the weekend as well; definitely stressed a bit over it…but I like how it turned out. (Ok, tickled pink! My first true mixed media canvas that wasn't tied to an online class!)  She’ll get it tomorrow…fingers crossed! So here are some of the finished photos.

Ok, now go visit LLJ to see where to portal next.  Have a great week everyone.

  2. Beautiful canvas!

I would have heard that bookshop calling my name. I would have left with journals and more. Glad you had a fun weekend.

  6. It's weird the way these journals are magnetic...I mean, you couldn't have got rid of them no matter how hard you tried ;-). Now comes the fun part of filling them up! That canvas is fab, she will love it :-)
