WOYWW #334

Welcome to WOYWW…the “What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday”  blog hop created by Julia at the StampingGround,  so hop over there to join the fun.

Despite having a week’s vacation, I squeaked in a pitifully few hours in the craft room.  (Lots of drinking in the Finger Lakes Region/wine country of central NY…but that’s another story!) We did find a stamp store there… Inky Hot Mess in Geneva, NY; opened in July; small, has a few different stamp companies, but shows great promise as she grows.  We helped her along as best as we were able with our funds much depleted from grapey goodness!

So what we have is the Hand bell Stamp by Inkadinkado I purchased last year, and never had a chance to use.  I’ve colored it with Perfect Pearls and a water brush; just the holly berries, leaves and bells.., so they are just a bit shimmery and they are hopefully drying nicely. They will get die cut into an oval/rectangular shape, and then layered with the red paper up by the inks.  Honestly haven’t gotten much further with thoughts of the finishing touches…

So there is my mess for the week.  Now go visit Julia’s and see what the rest of the Desker’s are up to!  Have a great week everyone.

  1. it's so funny that when i'm working all week I seem to fit in more playtime than when I'm at home. Maybe it's because we need it more then to destress.

  2. Hi Kim, that is a lovely stamp, very unusual. Your colouring of it looks beautifully subtle.I have a question to ask you: in the cards you sent to LLJ, is a fab image of a girl in platform boots(a subject very close to my heart!). I wondered, is it a rubber stamp, or a digi image? Thanks for any help Kim, have a great week, hugs, Shaz #10 xx
